Meaning:

The legions of Lord Yama, have no pity. Leave your worries, and remember God.

Dont be materialistic day and night, eating sense gratifying foods and fantasizing.
Accumulating things by killing others (in all levels-emotionally, mentally etc), you never know when the Yamadootas (Legions of Yama) will come to end your life.

You would say that you are just married, just bought a land and be fantisized by the mundane pleasures.. You would say that you have all money and you will never die, but will death never chase you? Oh Futile being!

You say that  you have just got a new house, and ceremony is going on ,your wife is pregnant, and your son is getting married soon..To say that life is just beginning and fresh, Would the Yamadootas leave you?

You say this is your Son's day of birth, feast is going on and the initiation ceremony of another son is happening tomorrow. To say that life is satisfactory and I would never want to die, death is laughing right above your head, Don't you see?

You say that you haven't finished eating the food just prepared, not seen places yet.. yet to borow money from debtors.. Before your last moments that may arrive anytime, do remember the God, oh Man/Mind.

Meaning:

Whence have you come? To where is your journey?
How many days have you here? Oh idle and trivial one!
(maruLe means addressing someone as sand = meaning trivial and unimportant)

In the womb of an Earthly Mother, for 9 months -  along with the bowel wastes (mala= faeces)
through the passage of womb- through the path of misery ...
what have you attained after coming to this Earth?
What caste you belong to? What is your name? [Meaning Who are you?]

What path are you stepping into next? Enough! oh Trivial one! Are there anyone here with you , who were your close ones in last life?
The ones who you meet and lived with - your wife, your son are all going to leave you.
Oh speak up !

Why shrivel? Tell me your place, the temple in your place.
In this Earth, trust the feet of kaagi Nele Adi Keshava and be blessed.

Vara Raga Laya

Vara Raga Laya
Raga: Chenchu Kamboji
Raga: Adi
Composer: Saint Tyagaraja

 Lyrics:

Pallavi:
vara raaga layajnulu taamanuchu
vadarerayya

Anupallavi:
svara jaati moorchana bhedamul
 svaantamandu teliyakayundina

Charana:
dehodbhavambagu naadamul
divyamau pranavakaaramane
daahamberugani maanavul
 tyaagaraaja nutayecheruru raama

Meaning:

Saint Tyagaraja expresses to the Lord that people go about prattling that they are the Masters of sacred raga and laya even though people might not have experienced, the differences in undulations of 7 notes and their derivatives within themselves.

All the melodies emanating from the body are the energy of the divine Omkara and those who do not know this are indeed deceiving that they are masters of raga and laya.
